EXHIBITION 100% ORIGINAL DESIGN
MAXXI MUSEUM, ROME

Starting from Wednesday the 19th of November 2014 to Sunday the 4th of January 2015, the MAXXI National Museum of the XXI Century Arts (Via Guido Reni, 4A, Roma) will welcome the exhibition 100% Original Design, a selection of icon-pieces realized from 1945 to today, promoted and supervised by Elle Decor Italia in the ambit of Be Original, a coral project for the defense of the Author design.
Already since its first edition, placed in Milan during the Salone del Mobile 2014, the project Be Original started a debate involving all the characters interested in the safeguard of the creativity and originality, besides the struggle against the forging of the industrial design in Italy and in the world.
The exhibition enhances the creativity in the design from the years after the Second World War up to now, diffused in Italy and abroad by the founding fathers of international Companies still keepers of a solid planning and entrepreneurial tradition and by several designers and architects who share their histories. A little resume of an immense estate, made of things, ideas, women and men, entered in our houses, in the books of history of the design, in the history Company houses and in the museums all over the world.
Olivari will be present with two of its models, Lama by Gio Ponti e Total by Rodolfo Dordoni, selected by the organizing as representative of two historical periods of the project and expression of innovative planning ways, that have generated several imitation attempts.
The entrance is free.
To each visitor will be given the catalogue of the exhibition.
